• Launched a procurement cost reference database program, built MS Access database to input cost estimates and purchase history from vendors. These changes increased the efficiency of Estimation Engineers when determining their approximate cost estimations and helped Procurement Engineers to negotiate with vendors.
• Implemented a blueprint database program, overseeing the scanning of 40 years of blueprints and datasheets from past projects completed by the company in Algerian and other African countries. This preserved the documentation and provided an online location for engineers and technicians to access the information quickly at any time.

• Revised the cost estimation spreadsheets, which made them flexible and easy to update according to the client’s requests, decreasing the negotiation period and the clients’ frustration from the old complex process.
• Introduced MS Project to establish the project planning and schedules, making the updates safer and easier for all projects.
• Created an instant offer-counteroffer process to assist with negotiating contracts with clients. The flexible Cost Estimation, Planning and Scheduling tools allowed instant simulations while negotiating instead of taking notes and sending updated offers to the clients few days later.
• Visited construction sites bi-weekly to observe the work and identify any potential issues, and researched and provided solutions to reported problems, thus reducing costly corrective actions that multiplied due to the lack of site visits.
